5. Error message on a computer: “Windows cannot access \\MyPhone246 (Details: Error Code 0x80070035. The network path was not found.)“
… assuming that MyPhone246 is a network name of your phone that is using SymNC or SymNAS software. 

Exist a few situations that may lead to this Error Message.
  1. This Error Message could be related to one of Updates from Microsoft, for more information please have a look at this page: Windows update KB2536276.
  2. A network router could have a special option to isolate broadcast within the network and this option is enabled. For this case we recommend to disable this option.

If you are using SymNAS or SymNC software in order to provide access from computer to phone files and getting described above error message on computer, then please use following recommendations:

  1. Turn OFF automatic update option for Windows Update on computer.
  2. Uninstall Microsoft Update KB2536276 on computer.
  3. Restart computer.
  4. Check again (!) updates installed on your computer and make sure that Microsoft Update KB2536276 is not installed. Chances are that this update can be automatically installed later again on your computer as a part of another update, in this case you will need to repeat from step 1.
  5. Restart phone.
  6. Start SymNAS or SymNC software and check if everything is working fine now.
